Custom Painted Valve Cover (V6)

Here's what I did to my valve cover.

1 Can of High Temperature Black Paint + 1 Can of High Temperature Red Paint + 1 Hour of dipping a nail in red paint = Custom Valve Cover :shock: :shock: It's a pain to do, but it looks good to me!

yeah i did that too i used the 1200 degrees paint and that shit turned orange and started flacking so i'm tring to take it off right now. good luck to you.

The 1200 degree stuff is not the right paint. He used the flameproff 1600+ paint. The 1200 stuff will burn up as soon as you start you're car up. I put that stuff on my headers the first time I tried to paint them and it melted away in a matter of seconds. That was a waste of 2 hours of work. The 1600 or 1800 degree stuff will work fine.
