I know its not the prettiest thing in the world. I read the Super Street Review/Dyno and this thing seems really really good. I think as soon as they make one for the Eclipse I-4 or V6 i am gonna buy one but that is gonna involve selling my Current Race Division Intake,...but that is another post. I think this AEM V2 Cai is bad ass!! What do you guys think?

AEM V2 intakes won't work on our cars, at least that's what Mike W. at RRE said, here's what he said:

The V2 kits work great on certain cars. Some cars they do nothing for. The power claims by AEM are real. I have seen some of the tests in person. But they will never make the kit for cars with air flow meters. It kills the whole pressure wave effect that the dual diameter tubes create. Some cars (2G NT for example) even though they have no air flow meter in the way, make very little extra power with the V2 system. So little (2-3 hp additional over a regular AEM CAI) that it does not justify the higher cost so they dont plan on making a kit. The length of the inner small tube and the location of any necessary bends totally affects what they can acheive with this system. But on a air flow meter equipped car, it does nothing. No V2 for you.
