I want to get you guys opinion on lowering springs
I have a 2001 2.4 soch galant and it needs lowering i cant pay for coilovers.

I'm thinkin i whould get this one Tein s.tech they drop the car 2.2 at the front and 1.5 at the back
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TEIN-S-TECH-LOWERING-SPRINGS-MITSUBISHI-GALANT-99-00-01-02-03-SKR72-AUB00-/260871561258?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AMitsubishi%7CModel%3AGalant&hash=item3cbd28202a&vxp=mtr#ht_1221wt_1163
but it says its for the 3.0L galant will it work with the 2.4?

And also should i get a lowering sping and shock kit? or is that unessasery?

This one the KYB lowering kit

I don't have experience on lowering my g yet but from what I have read tein s. Tech with kyb agx's are the way to go, I have also read some members ride teins on gr2's with a good ride. I have seen mixed reviews on the m2 springs depending on what you deciede I want to know what you think of them.

the Teins for the v6 will lower an i4, but it will sit higher more like a 1.6 drop, it doesnt look bad, but u will still have some front wheel gap

here's an old pic of my old i4 sitting on v6 teins with gr2's

Just get tein lowering springs made for the 2.4 if that's what you have. EBay has them for a good price but i'm not sure how much shipping would be for you. Also you will want to replace your struts/shocks when lowering since your current ones won't last at all.

+1. Itll work for both. V6 just has more of a drop because it weighs more, obviously.

if you have a USDM 8g (made in Normal, Illinois USA), then you will most likely not be able to find suspension parts for your car in Europe since they have worldspec cars made in japan that have different chassis codes than what you have; the chassis code for your car, if it's a 2.4 SOHC, is EA3A.

why would you think that? the Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) factory is in Normal, Illinois... that's where they have the annual Mitsubishi Owners' Day Factory event (MODfactory); all USDM 8G's were made there. MMNA headquarters and R&D is in Cypress, California where they hold the original MOD (which just happened last weekend).

if you want to do projector fogs get blazers from TRS, or go to a junk yard and pull em off an Alero, thats what I did and they work great.

^^If you get blazers, don't put HID's in them, the chrome on the bowls flakes off from the heat. Instead, I'd get some Fusion fogs:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-OE-Spec-Replacement-Foglight-Fog-Light-L-or-R-/250756731248?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AFord%7CModel%3AFusion&hash=item3a62441170&vxp=mtr

They hold up to HID's real well and have an awesome output. There's a guy on HIDPlanet selling pairs:
http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?39041-FS-Brand-new-never-used-Fusion-Projector-Fogs-for-HID&highlight=fusion

He's the cheapest and they are OEM. They require you to fab up a way to mount them, but I think the output and longevity are worth the hassle.

Not all blazers will bubble or flake off. Some projectors were just in a bad batch matt said and and most won't do that.

as i like the projectors i posted mostly for the angel eyes the ones Greg posted do not appeal to me
