As most of you know, earlier this year I was involved in an accident with my 2001 Galant. The accident left my car in horrible shape, and I swore it would never drive again.

So I decided on a project.

I bought a car for $200. The engine was shot but all the other parts were there. So I decided a little work was needed.

Yes, thats the same car that was involved in the accident. I fixed it.

The Black Dragon is back bitches! MN crew - I'll see you at the cookout! :D

I thought of you today when I tore into my factory 3 liter to sort it for scrap. Glad to see you didn't leave us afterall.

Yessss!!!!!! I'm so excited its unbelievable. I have a certain black gtz grille to give you to replace that ugly chrome one and a set of black headlights too :)

Looking at those pics again, I never would have thought of scrapping it in the first place, but frustration can be a real bitch and time to cool off is a must. Glad to see it in one piece again!!

You still have my old grill? Holy shit, its like Christmas! Hahaha!

To those who wonder, I had to replace the fender, part of the core support, all A/C lines, power steering lines, coolant tank, radiator, grill, headlights (I hate electrical work!!!), and a bunch of other random crap. The car is back on the road and ready for the winter. :)

Here she is on her first test drive. I drove it from my house to the shop that I work at. There are still some minor bugs I need to fix, nothing crazy.

To the Gen Coupe, yes.

To the Galant, no. It will be my winter/daily car from here on out. Its reliable as is.
