2007 Galant Es 57770 miles, 4 cyc engine. My ac condensor has a bad leak and needs to be replaced. Any tips on how to replace this part myself? The haynes manual seems to only cover 94-03 galants.

Thanks

Replaced the ac condenser this past weekend it was a fairly easy to moderate job. I didn’t need to take my car to the shop to get the ac system evacuated because the Freon leaked out and there was no pressure in the ac lines. I removed the front grille, removed the air intake, removed the radiator support and that gave me easy access to the ac condenser. Used new o rings for the ac lines and one ounce of refrigerant oil in the new condenser, put everything back together, and then took my car to a shop to have it checked and charged. Ice cold ac again!

New Condenser 60.00
AC Check and Charge 49.00
AC o ring set 4.99
refrigerant oil 6.99
