The battery connector on the negative terminal is rusted to the point where it's fractured and needs replacement. Sometimes it's hard to get the car to start without jiggling the connector around a bit. Has anybody gone through the procedure for replacing these things?

Its real easy get new terminals at your local parts store remove the old terminal cut and strip off new wire if corroded to get good aground replace with new terminal tighten and start it up.

After replacement connectors can be oiled to prevent rust. Use some grease or WD-40

also try not to get the ones that bend easly. they are usualy coated in red and black paint. i had those and after about a year worth of use they started to crack. i swiched to something tha looked much stronger they were i think brass. you can find these at your local parts store. they dont cost alot either
