Free mods

Hi i was wondering wat free mods there are to do on the galant and how to do them
I already hacked my air box today and was wondering wat other sort of mods there are to do ie egr block off
i already tried searching but didnt come up with anything
also wat happened to the old board ?
ill post a pic of my air box tonite if anyones interested
oh and btw i have a 93/94 (cant remember which) galant viento if that makes sense to anyone? its a jap import and i live in New Zealand

oh yeh forgot to mention ive done that one too but didnt notice any difference as far as performance goes but i did notice that the revs jump a lot higher when the car is started and take a while longer to settle down to idle
is that supposed to happen?

i think its pretty obvious wat part i cut out
tomorrow im gonna go down to the hardware store and pick up some drain pipe to make a duct running into the box to give the filter some cold air
also out of curiosty do u guys have straight fours?? id never heard of a galant that wasnt a V6 till i came here? did all the jap cars get given 6's and the US ones 4's ?

all 7g USDM Galants are 4 cyln

heres some ideas for free mods(not sure if they will do anything performance wise but at the very least it would save weight)
egr block off
charcoal canister removal
throttle body coolant block off
cold air intake
oil/air separator
tighten throttle cable

anyone else got ideas or know how to do any of these things ?(except for the cai and throttle cable mods they are both well documented)

you can hack at the airbox some more. uhm get a k&n filter for better airflow, maybe route some dryer hose or something so u can direct cold air to the filter
