Im going with black and tan interior and im having trouble picking up where should i cut it. The 8g has distinctive, multi piece door panel where it can be 2-toned very easy while 7g door panel is pretty much one piece.

So im gonna cut it there where the line is, but what im trying to figure out is if should do the leather insert tan or leave it black

all black is understated, mixes classy and performances, if you're gonna add another color, go with grey

This is what i did last night. It came out pretty good and I intend to keep this color scheme for the whole interior.

So do you think this is a good spot to cut it?

I think that'll work. Or, you could follow the crease line on the door under the armrest but then it wouldn't line up with the dash/glove box crease line, so I'd go with what you have drawn up.

That's quite nice, what you've done with the center console. Just my opinion but what I've noticed is black shows more dust than tan, and so what I would go with is, tan near the window and black towards the bottom of the door. Same line that you have drawn but the colors flipped.

Truth I think you should stay with black. you got the red and black theme going which looks good already and then add tan kind of throws it off. If you really want to do the door panels do like red stitching or something to compliment the red already that you have.
