My GTZ had a fender bender.

The right passenger fender made contact with another vehicle that was going 45mph. The Galant bumper pulled away, the fog light got unplugged, the fender crinkled and moved the wiper fluid bottle out of place, pushing it through the plastic in the wheel well against the tire. I got that stuff moved away from the tire and the bumper out of the way so I can at least drive.

I notice a mystery leak inside the tire wheel well. I don't notice any particular fluid lower than it was before. It looks brown and I didn't notice any odor when I smelled it.

Before I moved stuff more into place:

Where I first noticed some leaking:

The place in question where it's leaking as well:

This is my first car and it doesn't even have 49K original miles. Used to be my mom's.

I don't have collision so I'll be paying out of pocket to fix this. Any ideas? I only just moved to the Atlanta Metro area. :087:

Looks like it might be power steering fluid. Not quite sure where the pump and pipework is located on a USDM but on ours the little cooler pipe could well be damaged in that location.

Most likely power steering fluid - which our cars use ATF - is the fluid you see. The power steering reservoir is right next to the washer fluid tank. By the accident pics, it doesn't look like the leak to coming from the trans cooler lines that connect to the radiator.

OK thanks. Power steering was my guess from the look of the fluid compared to what's in that containers. I'd forgotten it's Dexron; fortunately I have not added generic power steering fluid.
