I serenely hope not, you also don't need to run hood pins for none steel trunk lids as it isn't being pulled open by the oncoming airflow, since I installed my fiberglass trunklid, I've taken my galant over 80 mph highway driving several times and it faired just fine, although I did cut out the torsion springs that open the trunk when you unlock it as it would be partially bending the trunk lid when it was closed

only car that looks halfway ok is the silver 3g, and even that one looks like it's sporting a large handlebar mustache...., black 8g used to be really clean, what happened :(
