Am well on the way to having this completed, probably by end of the month or next month.
aiming for a conservative 400-500 hp

So far...

-dual Garrett ball bearing turbos with inbuilt waste gate assy
-Link Extreme G4 ecu fitted and running complete with knock sensor
-660cc Siemens injectors and modified injector rail
-Walbro fuel pump
-dual full length exhaust custom stainless steel
-custom fabricated exhaust manifolds and heatshields
-custom catalyctic converter fabrication, placement same as stock
-custom intercooler and piping..(in progress and a pain in the ass)

Here are some random pics will post more if anyone interested.

so you use the 6g75 stock flange but what headers did you use to match up? do tell lol

Aghhh......the flange is custom laser cut, not using stock one..the whole lot apart from mufflers etc is fully custom fabricated ...from scratch...
this platform has little to no support....I might change that soon...:023:

Will replicate it all during the year because will end up doing this to to or three others in my collection me thinks

Although we don't have regular emmissions checks here it is irresponsible to emit cancer causing chemicals onto my fellow man...so...200 cpi metal cats in the headers, better than stock ceramics.

May as well do it right first time.

(Of course the engine is forged with Wiseco forged pistons at 8.5 CR,pauter rods, nitrided crank etc etc... and the auto has a Quaife limited slip differential with Koni coilovers all round...)

Will be about $30k spent on this little project when all done...

I really do like my big full sized Mitsubishi cars...small cars just don't do it for me...:)

This is seriously good fun watching it all come together.

Here's some more pics including the very very first dyno run before any serious tune.

253kw/700nM torque and only 4000 rpm ...at the wheels!

Stupid amount of power, have told the tuner to wind it back to more sensible levels....those Yokohama tyres are 500 dollars each...:)

It was shredding the tyres on the dyno...

Anyway...it has a fair bit of dyno tuning time to go but you get the idea guys.....it's pretty damn scarey...

I think that equates to approx 340HP? Thats just right in my opinion, I'd keep it right there :)

yep...your maths is spot on.

I only want a little bit more (400hp) when switching to track mode (it is having a 3 stage software controlled boost controller)

I don't know how I missed this thread, great job

I'm not entirely sure if this was answered, how did you get around the single upstream most oxygen sensor with the X-pipe?

I'm not entirely sure if this was answered, how did you get around the single upstream most oxygen sensor with the X-pipe?

-Using an innovate wide band oxygen sensor at the mix point.
-stock oxygen sensors all disconnected as replacement ECU does all the fuel control and idle mixture.
-air flow meter not used either, ecu does multiple tune maps according to a variety of conditions.

If you put your foot down at 60mph ...both wheels spin...pretty damned scarey....might drop the boost a bit.

Anyway...needed the finishing touches...
