Ventshades? Is it RICE?

I think i saw this on a slick customized black galant. Anyone think it would look good on a 2000 silver ES that has tinted windows and a nose mask?

Are Ventshades like this considered RICE? I've looked through the member's photos, haven't seen any with this simple addition.

Nah, it's not rice. I like them. I'm not really fond of them on sedans though. Had a set on my truck but it has those little vent windows and a friend forced it open and it cracked the ventvisor.. ripped em off and haven't gotten around to replacing them. Ah well!

Well, I thought about it, and didn't buy them. Too much misc stuff on a car kills the stock curves.

I post some pics of my 8G when i get the digital cam back (I love it when I borrow my brother's $6,000 professional digital camera)

but I dont like the idea of the 2sided tape holding them on
I saw a set on www.weathertech.com I believe that's the site and they go by the weather striping and dont have to be stuck on the car
they are 79.99 though and the others are like 39.99

Rice? Why would they be rice? That's an ignorant thing to say just because you don't like them. In fact, most riced out cars I see don't have them at all. I love them so I can put the windows down when it's raining and not get wet.

Rice??? o.O They're for keeping water out when the window is cracked. We have them on all our cars(except mine[Maxima and F-150])

i got mine locally @ speedunlimited.com it was like 50 dollars i think. but that was like maybe 3 years ago. i like mine. i don't think they are rice. they look good on my car. jsut make sure that u put em on a clean surface.

Rice or not rice. I think they look good on most cars. I want a set for my car. They do have a practical purpose too.
