Are F5M42 and W4A42 Gearbox Bellhousing's interchangeable?
I have an Automatic 4 speed Galant I need to cert. I can get a FWD 5 speed Manual for cheep, but will an auto bellhousing bolt up?

Why not just use the entire box, why are you wanting to swap bell housings?
What motor are you bolting upto is the question I would be wanting to know first

Factory Block, Factory Auto Bellhousing... I just wanted to see if it could go manual easily. It was never going FWD. My Automatic Galant is 4WD, the cheep manual's ($350.oo) are FWD. My transfer case can't bolt up to a FWD. Modified, Factory 4G93GDI block. Factory Built from 1998-2001.
Thanks anyway man.

Na, all good man. I've wired and bolted the auto box up to the engine now. I'm just splicing the EVO1-3 wiring loom and the GDI wiring loom together and pluging them into a GSR ECU. So many wires...
