That one from ebay looks like you have to use a computer then download all the software just to use it, too much work for me. I would just get one for your smartphone if you have a smartphone or just get a quality hand held scanner.

I have both of these devices and they come with third party software whitch is junk, I prefer the Bluetooth since it will work with the torque app

Yes I have a android and im havin a bit of connecting to certain cars with torqu it connects to my galant fine but wouldnt connect to a 03impala maybe cuzz i have the free torq...is the paid one worth getting?

I also have connecting issues but only with the Bluetooth sometimes I have to disable it and then re enable it in order for it to work
