Hi, I'm Carlos from South Florida. I drive an 8g that I just bought about a month ago. Every time I seemed to have a question about my galant, google brought me straight to this website lol. So I just thought I might as well join in and see what it's all about. So far I love how all your g's look and I'm hoping you guys will help me with my process along the way.

Welcome to TGC! Enjoy your stay. The Member's Rides section of the forums should give you some inspiration for modding your car. Good luck, just remember to read and study. Chances are any question you have will have already been answered fiftyeleven times.

The best bang for your buck to increase the ride feel would be a Prothane suspension bushing kit. It replaces all of your worn rubber bushings with new, tight, urethane bushings that make an incredible difference in ride quality.

That's an interesting color, I don't see many like that.
You have an 8GA, like me. IMO, best appearance upgrades have been my 17" Eclipse rims :) Wheels and tires make the biggest difference both in handling and appearance for the amount you spend, although I agree with the post above about prothane bushings being the way to go.

Here's a pic with the Eclipse rims, to give you an idea. They may not be your cup of tea, but it shows just how big of a change bigger rims is. My car came factory with wheels like yours.

Also, you can get prothane kits on ebay pretty cheap. Here you go:

Thanks man, the wheels definitely make a difference. Do you have any suggestions of websites to get some wheels? And sorry for being such a newb lol, but is it hard to change the bushings? I'm just now getting in to working on my own car so I've been trying to learn a lot.

As far as new wheels are concerned, just about any major wheel/tire distributor can help you out. Discount Tire, etc...
Honestly though, you can always find sweet deals on Craigslist. I found a set of RT/TT rims for my Stealth for $75. Got my Eclipse rims from a friend for a pair of 3000GT tail lights and headlights.
Bushings are pretty easy, burn the old ones out with a torch, press the new ones in. Haven't done any on the Galant platform, but I'm pretty sure you'll need a decent press. Maybe someone has a little more experience and can chime in with how much pressure is needed.
Don't apologize for asking questions. I would rather see someone ask questions and learn than break their shit. The Galant community is a lot smaller than my other cars' community, so it would be nice to keep the amount of "totaled, parting out" threads around here low. Lol.
If you have any questions, just post, a lot of these guys know a ton, and they're all really great.
