On the under side of the hood about 8" from the sides their is a indentation on the hood. These indentations on my 2002 lined up directly with my radiator support.

I Started with a small Bit and drilled up from the bottom VERY slowly. Once through both layers I went up top and opened up the hole with a bit large enough for my hood pins.

I then took a dab of paint on the end of the bolts and stuck them through the hole on the hood to mark where to drill on the radiator support. I then drilled that hole with the proper size drill bit.

I had to cut 1" off of the bottom of the hood pin bolts to avoid hitting my headlights. I tightened it all down to the radiator support.

I used Momo Sliding pins so on top of the hood to mount the pin assembly. Lay it out where you want it to be. Then drill pilot holes just a little bit smaller than the fastener screws to attacht the assembly. Make sure you drill first. The clear coat ontop of the hood WILL CRACK if you do not.

REMEMBER:

Mark twice drill once.
The clear coat is brittle drill with high rpm's and very little force.

I will put pics up later.
