Eclipse ST Swaybar on 8G Galant

Who on here has pounded the trunk to make this fit? How much pounding is involved? Does the spare still fit after it's done?

I did it, it was my first suspension mod. Pounding was a pain in the butt, it's hard to swing a hammer up instead of down. Me and my brother took turns pounding on the spot with a hammer. If I were to do it again, I would cut a notch or something. The spare tire fits no problem.
