My dad was ordering my CAI today through Adventon.com. The guy from Adventon said it wouldn't fit the Galant, but I know it will. Just tell me if it does or doesn't fit so my dad can see that i'm not crazy.

That will work. You are going to not want to let the know you are ordering for a Galant. Just order it. The 3G Eclipse and the 8G Galant share the same engine. I am sure if you do a search you can find all kinds of pictures to prove to your dad.

Indeed...if you read the instruction manual it will even say "Eclipse/Stratus" and supposedly now it has "Galant" too.

I have used the V6 Injen Cold Air Intake on my 2000 I-4 Galant and also a Injen Race Division made for the I-4 3G Eclipse for my 2002 Galant.

2000 I-4 Galant with Injen Short Ram Conversion using a Intake made for a 2000 V6 Eclipse.

Same Car, but with the Cold Air Extension put on, remember this was made for a 2000 V6 Eclipse but I am using it for my 2000 I-4 Galant with no problems.

it is direct fit!!! the eclipse and galant have the same exact engines wether it be the 2.4 or the 3.0for the eclipse, it will work on the 2.4 or the 3.o for the galant. they are both the same!!!! they also share the same suspension. tell the guy that works at that place to shut up and order the freaking part. I hate people who think they know your vehicle betterthan you!!!! tell himto know his role and that is to sell you whatever part you want!!

Yes it will work. My mech said the same thing...THE ENGINES AND MOUNTS ARE THE SAME.

I just when to check that intake (I'm gonna order it after this side job pays) and they now have it for $203.13...though it's still the lowest I've found.
