Doing a wiper motor replacement. Has anyone removed the crank arm from the wiper motor?

I bought a motor without the arm on it, and simply thought I could remove the crank arm and transfer it over.

I was able to remove the nut from it, but unable to pry the arm from the old motor (as if they were fused together).

Any suggestions?

I thought that would work, but there's no end to this thing- even with some PB Blaster. It's almost as if its fused to it. Too afraid to take a hammer to it.

try an open end wrench for leverage. or bang on the wrench
