Transmission Question

I currently have a manual tranny in my galant, pwered by a 6a12 twin turbo engine. It was changed from an automatic.
my galant is 4wd
which trannys would be perfect as a replacement for mine. moreoever, is the evo tranny a bolt on for my galant?

i wa smore thinking (now having given it more detailed thought) about a vr4 transmission, never thought about it much b4 due to the expected cost of the product. but that would be the perfect tranny for my ride i guess. any views on this, and about how much it would cost?

i thought your ride was a vr4, but with that now known go ahead with the vr4 trans, here in the states the vr4 trans is very good, much different than a dsm, a much better 1st gear...go for it.
