Ok so it seems my oil pan is broken. And I have checked a lot of places for a replacement but can't seem to find it. So I was just wondering if you guys knew if any other pan would fit from some other models or generations.

Thanks in advance
Rafn

I used one off a 3G Eclipse, and I'll assume the Stratus ones will fit as well. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Yep the stratus ones work too. Just make sure you have one with the mitsu motor in it

Go to the dealer and buy a new one for $35...

Or he can take a few hours, gather some tools, go to the junk yard and pull off one that is possibly bent on the bottom, get dirty, pay 25 for it plus a 2 dollar entrance fee, all for an 8 dollar savings he'll likely spend on a burger for a job well done....

Sometimes going new (a lot like your replies)makes the most sense.

OP If parts stores dont carry it, the people that made the car likely will.

It surprises me that oil pans can be pulled in Cali, of all places. In Minnesota, we can't pull pans or any internal parts. The yards here have been threatened by the EPA if they were to sell such items.

haha wow im surprised that Minnesota has the EPA watching and not Cali. No such scrutiny here.
