whats up tgc hood! im in the process of replacing my old shifter with a new shift knob and boot only i just cant find a boot thats big enough to fit, so if anyone has done this already let me know what kind of boot you went with and how you installed it :wink:

Razo seems to be the choice but try a "search" you will get all the info u desire.

I know momo makes a universal one, but i cant remember how much they want for it.. You could always use the eclipse shift boot, but the dealer wants 50 bucks for it.. IF not that always try the junkyard..

i made my own shift boot, i went to a fabric store and bought some leather and sewwed it myself i also used a shift knob made for manuel trannys. what i did to make that work was i removed the white plastic peice that locks the shifter when the brake is not pushed down. than i snapped off the plastic peice that pushes the shift lock down and put a screw into it. attached my new shifter over the screw and now when i wanna shift i just push down on my shift knob. heres a pic...
