anyone interested in an IL/WI meet once it warms up?

Once upon a time, the TGCIL/WI chapter met up atleast once a month in the summer. or atleast once or twice in the summer. Those were some good times. We've lost a couple of members but I know there are a few still in the Chicago/Rockford area. I want to plan a meet for probably Late May or June, but Im not going to go through all the trouble in getting a location if its going to be just Me, Dave, and Jon. At that point I'll just have them over at my house. haha

Meeting in the city is kinda bunk because they charge for parking and if youre rollin with more than a couple cars you get kicked out in less than 10 mins.

We can meet in the Schaumburg area, thoug it may be a bit crowded and may be too far for the peeps coming from Rockford area.

I have a spot local to me that we meet at all the time and I can ask if we can meet there. It's in Algonquin at a Sonic Drive-in.

I'm good anywhere: Algonquin, Schaumburg, etc. If you have a spot that's approved, that's always good. Otherwise a forest preserve maybe? Could cook out.

I'd avoid the city also bc of the pot holes and traffic.

Weve had meets at Busse before the turnout usually doesnt need a permit (I dont imagine we need it this time considering the amount of active Galants in the area). If Busse is good for everyone, we'll make it official.

Good turn out today. six 8Gs were in attendance. Two of them were mine but we'll count it.

Next meet has been planned and its for July 11th. So if you missed this one, come join us July 11th, same place, same time. No excuses, we met a guy today who drove 5.5 hours from Ohio, to come hang out with a total of six Galants just so he could meet and see other people who enjoy Galants.
