I saw a bunch of threads about what people have done to their cars to this point so I figured I would start my own and add on as I continued to own the car. Some of the pictures might be repeats from some people who have already seen some of my posts but I wanted to compile them all in once place.
Enjoy!

01/13 I purchased the car bone stock with 181,638 miles on it for $2300. I was pretty happy with my purchase.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/487387_476457479077653_1109812040_n_zpsxmnxhlsw.jp g

The first thing I did was take it to a shop and have the timing belt and all the fluids changed as well as had them give the car a full look over. Everything was fine.

04/13 I installed my first subwoofer ever, a single Kenwood 12" running on a 1000watt amp. At the time I sure was proud of it lol.

05/13 Got ahold of some interior LEDs, one of my favorite purchases for the car to this day. They have the sound activated and color changing modes, I'm a sucker for lights and LEDs. Also put in an additional 2 12" Kenwood subs and a 1000X2 amp.

(Not my car, found on google)

09/13 Painted the factory wheels black and bought new hubcaps from them since I could not afford rims yet. Later got new tires put on the rims.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0050_zpsc4bjcw2s.jpg

10/13 Finally upgraded the headunit to a nice Pioneer, I should have done this from the start.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1902_zpsjxnyxpjy.jpg

01/14 Continuing on with my LED addiction, I got million color LED underglow. It was a fun little project and pretty cool effect at night too.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1903_zpsxy7ys32b.jpg
You can see both control panels for the interior glow and the underglow

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1147_zps0lwxcvpf.jpg

03/14 I got rear ended coming into the parking lot at my school, the girl behind me was distracted (go figure) but it all got fixed.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0477_zpshdxdxu4s.jpg

04/14 Painted the trim and door handles black to add some contrast and match the wheels. Ended up debadging the trunk as well.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1798_zps4nbykt2u.jpg

11/14 Purchased Spec-D tuning headlights, overall they are decent, wish the halos were brighter but they can be changed I just haven't. Ended up replacing my radiator with a little larger one because the old one had a hole in it.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1702_zpsbrpbigym.jpg

1/15 Upgraded my subs to 2 15" JBls (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiZdvfK2KtM), I am very pleased with them. Also debadged the trunk and added LED dome lights (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5haVLWDqr_A), trunk lights, license plate lights, and turn signals (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHoa_ineyZ0).

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1716_zpsfuq4fogh.jpg

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1701_zpsy7lyvpe5.jpg

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1705_zpsmjfewtlt.jpg
(I have since taken off those shitty connectors and soldered and heat shrunk the resistors to the turn signals)

2/15 Thanks to Oakrdrs187, I was able to complete the foglight mod that allows you to run foglights with the parking light and high beams, thanks for your help!! Also added black mesh to the grill and check out the link here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6lATVQfBZc) to see what I did with my windshield washers, actually turned out better than I was expecting lol.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1731_zpsgjefn0w1.jpg

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1732_zpspz5ewrtj.jpg

I then proceeded to slide into an ice bank, denting my rear quarter panel pretty good. I was able to push it out then I was able to try my hand at body work for the first time. It turned out decent but would I do it again? Doubtful. Heres the link for the whole thread on the issue. (https://www.thegalantcenter.org/showthread.php?54233-Car-Totaled-I-need-advice/page2)

04/15 Took off my old, bubbling, purplish tint that came with the car when I bought it and replaced it with new, black tint, 35% front 20% rear.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1878_zpstvrsqbbd.jpg

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_1879_zpsidgeop6w.jpg

As of right now I believe that's everything, I will update this as progress is made. What are your guys thoughts on it? I'd love to hear some more input.
Thanks!

Looks good, being I had the 8gb Bumper I know it limits you far as modding the grill/front end but here are few options,
Color matching the grill pieces like a GTZ http://i59.tinypic.com/m8jvqs.jpg I think it would look good with black diamond logo in the front...

or leaving the grill parts black and painting/dipping the middle piece of the bumper black like this http://i59.tinypic.com/2vinxw8.jpg and Making the diamonds white...

both pretty easy to do with some Plastidip and can give it a diff look

I quite like the second option.. I'll give that some more thought, thanks! Is that an integra lip on the second car?

That's how it's suppose to be....sidewall gets shorter as diameter gets bigger to keep overall circumference about the same...

I'm trying! haha Keep in mind thats also larger than factory ride height due to my driveway being uneven, the suspension keeps the car level so the passenger side is boosted up a bit making a bigger gap. Like an inch higher...

Installed a universal vortex generator kit. I'm pleased with it but still having mixed feelings. I wanted an Evo 8 one like other members have but I didn't like how it was all black, but I also didn't like the color matched ones, so I went with this kit so I can still have the black fins but not have the black go all the way across the roof. Looks kind of like they were stuck on but that's because they were, came with some sturdy 3M double sided tape so I can always take them off if I decided to.

Latest update on the G, no pics tho sorry. Just gave it a very deep clean inside and out before I move in a couple days. I'm pretty excited to see how much crap I can fit in it haha I noticed a mouse had visited some wires in my engine bay.... So I got that all fixed up and topped off the fluids. Should be ready for the drive to Ames!

Oh, and I got a car cover so it is protected from tree sap this fall.

Went camping with my girlfriend this weekend, it was a lot of fun!! I got some good pictures of the G too. The State Park we went to was actually really cool, with lots of trails to go explore and streams to drive through. The only downside was I broke my brand new phone.. Oh well it's replaceable.

I hate to clutter Techno's thread with something so off topic like discussing with Mr. Jordan. Everyone knows that JDM cars look better no need to say that over and over, although if I recall correctly isn't your car the one with all those little chrome accents and fake chrone vents? So yeah......with the exception of yours, JDM is better looking.

Its not the most stylish car on the outside, but it's a 2002 Honda Accord EX with 148K on the clock. There is really only one bad scratch and its on the rear driver side door, and the only rust is on the passenger rear fender, and its not even visible from the outside yet (who knows for how much longer though, this is the midwest). The interior of the car is what really sold me on it. It is very clean, leather has no rips (yet), dual power seats, power sunroof, the nicer sound system, climate control, and a couple other things I always wish the G had. The color of the car is not my favorite, but I couldn't really afford to be picky with a week left till I go back to college. It has ABS, traction control, cruise, 3.0 VTEC V6 engine and an automatic transmission. I was trying to avoid another automatic but the car really was a good deal. I came across the car while at a used car lot looking at an Eclipse. Unfortunately, it was another dud Eclipse, multiple badly repainted body panels, 180K miles, and the engine seemed to have a couple issues so I started looking around and found the Accord. So far I'm pleased with it, although I have only put 50 miles on it so far. The ride is very smooth and the V6 engine is a lot faster than the 4cyl G. It throws you back a little when you get on it. The dealer did quite a bit of upkeep an maintenance on the car before I bought it as well. It might not be the best car ever, but I know Hondas are reliable and this one was in great shape so I couldn't pass it up.

My plans for the car are:
Full LED replacement on the interior
Factory rear spoiler (doesn't look right without it imho)
New headlights
HID
Subs from the G
New passenger tweeter (blown)
Single DIN Headunit w/bluetooth
Keyless entry
Tint

Thats all I can think of right now.

Shoutout to RedGalant2k1 for all of your help!

Its really very simple especially with the mini kits from theretrofitsource website. To be honest the bodywork you did on your G a while back was much more difficult in my opinion.

Might be a fun project I can do in my dorm, I'm definitely down to give it a try!

I drove a 2003 4 cyl Accord at the same place and was disappointed, thats why I picked the older one with he better engine.

Nice pick up on the accord, that was actually the route I had plan to take before getting my galant.

Got my headunit and subs installed in the accord. still tweaking the SWI to get it to work, instructions are confusing AF. Anyways, once everything was all hooked up and functioning, I turned the subs on (had them off on the headunit) and there was very little bass.. Like very little. I went and looked at the subs and they are moving, but barely. First thing I check was the gains on the amp, they were all halfway up. I turned them all the way up and down and they made little to no difference. My next thought was the headunit, so i checked all the settings and they were the exact same as before. If I cranked up the bass boost it got noticeably louder, but crazy distorted like I was expecting. The only thing I can think of is I have the subs wired wrong in the box, and I can't figure out how (still learning car audio keep in mind in mind haha). Heres my amp (http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-KAC-9106D-Amplifier-Speaker-Inputs/dp/B00JQ1VJFE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452271596&sr=8-1&keywords=kenwood+2000+watt+amp), Subs (2 of them) (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00269X90G?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00), and heres how I wired them.

Any thoughts?

Adjust them properly

Sounds to me like the subs are wired wrong. Take the subs out of the box, mark which wires are positive and negative, then proceed to rewire them and retest.

Adjusting them did nothing, I agree with Red on this one. Going to have to wait till mid Feb till I'm back home I'm afraid. I am impressed with the factory premium speakers in the Accord, they sound really good! I miss the G though :090:, the Accord just does't feel as sporty even with the larger engine.

Hey guys! I would like you opinion. I really like the factory headlights on the accord, and I really don't like any of the projectors headlights that I have found. So, what I want to do is buy these (http://www.amazon.com/Accord-Replacement-Headlight-Assembly-Housing/dp/B00UZRBRXW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1453503163&sr=8-2&keywords=2002+accord+EX+black+headlights) (black with amber strip) and retrofit them with projectors and HIDs eventually. But, I also want to add some LEDs in the amber strip along the bottom of the lights and have them flash with the turn signals. Any clue how hard it would be? I think it would be doable and worth it because they would be custom to my car only and give it more of a VIP "Audi" style in the front.

You can just open your stock lights and paint the shrouds black. And clean and polish the lens inside and out. Its very doable.

I want to start from scratch, all new headlights. Mainly since I have no clue how long it will take me to complete and I still have to drive the car. I've checked out theretrofitsource and that's who I'm going to get that stuff from, but what about the orange LEDs in the strip?

Well, update on the Accord lights (I know its not a G but I'm proud of it and the Accord forum I'm on is kind of just bleh).
Decided to wait on the retrofit for a while, but still wanted to do something to them so this is what I've done.

The LEDs are completely installed in this picture, can't even see them when they're off and that was my intention.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0604_zps57ncprht.jpg
Some trimming was required.

They are switch back LED strips that I got online and original they came in a white rubbery tube but I didn't like how you could easily see the rubber tube when the lights were off so I took them apart. I've tested the LEDs and they are really bright! The amber ones could still be a little brighter but they look like they will do the job just fine. Still waiting on the second set of LEDs to finish the passenger side, then I'll get the housings put back together and the lights installed.

What they look like fresh out of the box.

Carefully pull of the end and then pull the LEDs out.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0625_zps4fsov2ht.jpg
Heatshrunk the connectors just to be safe.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0626_zpswohkq2dk.jpg
The LEDs in the chrome reflector can be easily put into the housing, not cutting or trimming required.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0628_zpsgof4tdx8.jpg
Had to drill some holes to get the LEDs in the much shallower area of the headlight.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0627_zpssiqlkwom.jpg
Trimming about 2 inches off one of the strips so it will fit.

http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q626/Austin_Nutting/IMG_0632_zps9okgnb6z.jpg
This is the hole that I'm going to run the wires through to exit the housing. Convenient.

Morimoto mini H1 projectors on the way.

Got the Morimoto H1 mini projectors mounted and the lenses lightly pressed back on to keep the dust out while I test them over spring break.

Those look way better than anything you could have found aftermarket on ebay or online. Not only that they are going to outperform the aftermarket sets by a long shot, just you wait and see!

nice car i had some ideas for the main light but i=I was afraid if i opened the light bulb housing it could cause water leakage in side and fog the housing. cause i have one of my fog lights currently in that condition.

It wasn't as hard or as scary as I thought it would be, just take your time.

U need to use butyl glue. It's a special glue to seal headlights. I have done this on two sets of headlights and a set of fog lights. No leaks at all.

Haha thanks! I miss the Galant, mostly the looks of it. The Accord has a lot of stuff my G never had tho, like climate control and a V6, and traction control, and leather, and a sunroof, and 6 speaker sound system, and a million other little things. My opinion is it was worth the upgrade.

Just realized I never posted the finished product.. My Bad.

Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZdaKlmmr3M)

Overall, the headlights I made are one of the few things I still like about the Accord. I have had a ton of issues with it and it's really hard putting more into a car you don't like.. I hope to be moving on from this car after this summer, but we'll see what all plays out.
