What can i do to this auto 03 v6 for power???

Sup I'm 21 live in pa got a v6 03 galant automatic and I can't find any info whatsoeer on any performance parts for this car it got 186k tranny slips on occasion but engine is still beast. I wanna swap to five speed but I'm bot a mechanic and have no experience if anyone could provide a detailed list of things ill need and approximate costs I would be very grateful

5 speed swap will free up some ponies and it sounds like you'll be doing it in the near future. There are a few threads on here how to 5 speed swap. I'm a newb and I did the 5 speed swap in my driveway, I asked questions on TGC when I got stuck. I did all the work by myself, had a friend help when putting the trans back in. Best mod to do. The easiest way to collect the parts is to find a pick N pull junkyard.
