If you are planning on trading or selling your galant because its not fast enough you are stupid. Why?
There is always going to be something faster you will never have the fastest car. You could go ahead and buy a new car but next year there will be a newer model of you car. Not to mention aftermarket parts are going to be hella expensive and the computer systems are hectic. It makes no sense to buy a car that does 180 when we cant even go that fast without crashing or getting tickets. I say if you like the design of you car keep and maintain it. It will save you a lot of money an headaches then going out and buying a new car which will decrease in value the following year
