Taking advise for wheels

I have come to the conclusion that buying a nice set of wheels for my car is just unlikely any time soon. That leaves me with making what i got at least look better lol. I don't particularly like hubcaps, so i figured i would clean up/repaint the stock steel wheels i have right now. My car is white, window trim and mirrors are black. I can't decide if i should try to do the wheels white or just redo them black. Any suggestions/ideas? Also, i have plasti dip, but if i repaint the wheels i would probably get spray paint.

I had an idea that would be the case, but I didn't have any personal experience with it lol. You have an opinion on plasti dip vs spray paint?
