horrid gas mileage

12 gallons 141 miles (according to trip odometer) thats about 11-12 mpg, thats worst than my 5000lb truck with a v8. i need help please

you should be getting close to 30 MPG. If it is running smoothly then I'd guess you are leaking fuel somewhere. It may leak only under load so could be difficult to track. I had an issue with my fuel filter leaking but it only leaked when car was rev up. If it is not ryunning smoothly then make sure all four cylinders are firing. Check you oil; does it seem diluted or smell excessively of gas? Do you have any trouble lights?
