2003 Galant Temperature Control Switch

My 2003 Galant is making a ticking noise under the dash that won't stop when I was switcing from cool to warm temp. Why is making that noise and where under the dash can I locate the problem. The noise is driving me nuts. Please help.

blend air door is stuck, if you remove the center console and lower dash, and look at the air box in the center, drivers side/by the accelerator cable, you will see the blend door valve
