Stock ECU tunability?

Hello,
me and a friend are planning on turboing a 8g, specifically, a 4G63 one(EA2A).
Will the stock ECU allow it?
Is it locked, too slow or something else that would prevent its use in such a scenario?

Turbocharging an engine typically requires modifications to the engine's fuel and ignition systems, among other things.
