I'm told that you can use aftermarket rear sway bars made for the Eclipse on the 8g Galant (mine's a 2000 ES). The people who make them say that all you need to do is cut the jacking point off on the spare tire well to fit. Anyone using any Eclipse parts that interchange with the Galant?

Your going to find that alot of members here are using parts from a 3G Eclipes. I personally am using a Injen CAI from a Eclipse on my car.

Now for the rear sway bar you will need to bang out your spare tire well in order for it to fit.

Yeah, you can get the Suspension Techniques rear sway bar for the 3G Eclipse and bang down or cut away the jacking point, but you can join the group buy for a rear sway bar that is being made specifically for the 8G Galants. That's if Norcal gets their manufacturer to hurry up and doesn't back out of the buy.

The AEM cold air intake, front Koni struts, rear KYB AGX shocks, front strut tower bar, and D3 chassis stiffening kit that I am using are all for the 3G Eclipse.
