aight well i was lookin at reelax's bumper... and it says something about bottom bumper missing or w/e.... i dont remember but he doesnt have the line like we do... in the bottom hole where the radiateor n what not is.... and i just wanted to know if anyone konws what to do..

i think he had a shop cut them out, patch up the holes then repaint the bumper. or was that someone else? anyways the only way to remove them is to cut.

yeah, i did that back in the day before my kit went on. i just used a saw to cut it out, masked off the ends, and rattle canned the middle area. heres a pic.

Many members have already done this mod with the grille. Just search around, I am sure you will find them!!

as soon as i get my dremel tool i will start... well i have already started it because most of the lower bumper grill is broke anyways. but fathers day is june 11th and i am getting a dremel and mesh grill for father's day.

once we cut it... dont we have to sand or w/e to make it soft and then paint it??? anybody can show me a better pic of where the cutting was....

mine was done at the bodyshop... they cut the middle bar and the vertical supports then flushed / bondo'd, and repainted the whole bumper and rivited and flushed in a steel mesh. cost about $300.00. about a year later the car was towed and all the bondo work snapped off. here are pics when it looked nice back in 1999:

twisted everytime i see ur car its bad ass!! even when u didnt have the kit!! lol always keepin it nice! so fresh and so clean clean... yeah but. i got a ? when u cut the bumper.. u did it right? if u did.. den did u just cut the lines and then what you do? does it take resistance or the strength of the bumper? will it start to bend with wind while i drive?

it was like cutting butter. it took maybe 5 seconds on each side. it won't bend cuz all your cutting is plastic, your not messing with anything that woudl make it do that.
