in my 95 galant s, whenever i drive the car with the overdrive button off, it drives fine, but with overdrive on, when it gets to about 35-40, the car goes into nuetral while its in drive and alls you hear is a revving noise like its parked and in nuetral, is the tranmission shot or what

the end clutch has failed.

any mitsu dealership can fix that without even removing the transmission.
anyone that says the trans needs a complete overhaul is incorrect.
