Side Vent

Hey guys, this may be a dumb question.

I had an alarm added onto my keyless entry (the car didn't come with an alarm - just keyless). The guys at the shop installed an LED on the vent located on the left of the steering wheel. Now the vent shutter doesn't move. I think they put too much glue in it. Getting them to fix it is becoming a pain in the ... anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the vent. Can you just pull it out?

take a small flathead screw driver, and slowly pry around the sides. should be very easy.
