Shock problem

I was parellel parking yesterday and was turining the wheel to the right hard. I heard a pop, and figure out that something was wrong with the suspenision. Come to find out the nut that goes on top of the shock came off. We put everything back together but the threads are messed up. We put a little lock tite on the nut and are waiting to the morning to see how tight it is. My question is that I need to drive home about 3 hours thats, were my new KYB"s were delivered to. Can I make it that far? Thanks for any advice.

just so you know, you can drive with that nut off for as long as you want just as long as you don't jump the car off a ramp https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
just drive safely and don't aim for those big potholes
