This is what they call "Platinum Tint", or so I've heard. I just thought it was a variation of the mirror tint. It is kinda blue-ish and a little see thru during the day, when the sun is setting it turns to complete mirror, and at night it looks like limo from farther away and when you get close it starts going to mirror again. Its pretty crazy. But I am thinking about doing a layer of limo tint behind it because its a little see thru in daylight. They told me the lighter my interior, the lighter my tint will look.

Depending on where you live, like say Seattle, where its cloudy most times, it will probably never be able to see thru.

So I prolly confused you more that anything, oh well. Good luck!

yes it is the color. in california, green and grey are legal. they even let brown slide. but blue is a no no.... also front windows can not have any tint unless you have a doctor's note for the judge to read and even then it's 70% or less in the front. no kind of windshield tint is legal.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(dopeboy8k)</div><div class='quotemain'> Doc's note? for what?</div>

If you go to the doctor and he decides you have sissy cornia's, so you take the doc note to the judge before, (or after) you get the tint on the windshield and they will approve it and you go from there.

I wanna get mine redone...
I'm gonna get either 20% or 5% put on top of what I got.
I am trying to make it so the front window looks dark, and you can't see into the car at all.
Also there is a place by me that is tinting the windsheild. The cars look nice after they are done...you can't see in for anything. downside  highly illegal and just for the front window costs 150 bucks to be installed, but the tint is laser cut with a computer just like vinyl decals are done and the job looks real good...all perfect cuts and stuff...the rest of the car is another 220 for the 7 windows

Maybe because my interior is tan... or the stock windows are tinted slightly green, but I have 20% aluminum-base tint (go metalic-base when you can so it won't fade), and it's dark, but when its light inside the car... it's greenish.
