GDI GAUGES

[Bad Galant]

I put the GDI guages on my car not too long ago and my temp. guage recently went out. Sometimes it works but still doesn't sit at the right temp. Is there something I can do to fix it my self? https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

first of all. i'd stop drivign the car. don't want to damage the needle mechanism. that can get expensive. u said that it works sometimes so im guessing its getting stuck. get some really thin double stick tape or some super glue and glue the gauges down. then u might want to gently pull the needle out ever so slightly to make room for the thickness of the new gauge.

as for the calibration, just gently push the needle to the bottom and it should reset itself the next time u start the car. hopefully u didn't do too much damage
