yo gost, whats up with the poics. anyway, whats the exact model for the mirrors. i found a few for the 94-97 accord. and what company are they from

http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/94_97a...ordmirrors.html ('http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/94_97accordmirrors.html')

and does it matter if i go with the 2dr style or four door style

here are a few that i found. which is closer to yours

i don't think it matters if you go with 2dr/4dr. these are exactly the pair i have except my light isn't blue. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2419917007 ('http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6763&item=2419917007')
the only problem with these is, you will lose the up down mothion of your mirror. because the m3 mirror comes with three wires, our galnt has 5.but it's a small price to pay for the looks of it, i think. i will have pics up soon. i just need to send them to someone to upload. any takers? leave your email iin a reply.

VegasMatt

Email your pics to me, [email protected]
and I will host them and get them up ASAP.

Tiptronic
06-19-2003, 10:55 AM
is there no way to splice the other two into the three on the mirror???

okay, so what do the 3 wires operate: is it one for left/right operation, and two for the lights(neg/pos)

let me know, i want to buy these to start my project, but i kinda want the ful;l operation, and if its not possible any anyway with these particular mirrors, i'll keep looking

ok, when i got these mirrors, there were 6 wires sticking out, 3 for the power mirror, three for the turn signal. the three for the power mirror = red, black, and white. so your going to lose a function, it just depends on which function you want to lose. up down, or left to right.

Tiptronic

Damm man, now im not so sure i want these anymore. : I like them and everything it's ust the way the bracket sits, it's kinda annoying to look at. I might go back to my stock mirrors. If i cant find any i will be willing to tade mirrors with someone. I think i want stock mirrors again. If anyone wants to trade, i need 01-02 stock black mirrors.

bacchus
06-26-2003, 11:51 AM
I WILL TRADE WITH U. BUT I NEED TO C WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE ON YOUR CAR WERE ARE THE PICS.

gost2002es
06-26-2003, 06:30 PM
OK, here's the deal. I just went to develop the film, they should be done and uploaded at around 10:30 tomorrow. If anyone is going to trade, their mirrors, hafta be black, no scratches or anything and i will need the mirror and the rubber piece behind it. The reason for the rubber piece is i cut mine so it wouldnt overlap the bracket. If anyone is willing to trade i will send both mirrors, with the rubber piece i have already cut.

couldn't u just modify the base, like shave or cut it down so it sits flush?

gost2002es

Nah, cause if i sanded the top part down it wouldnt be straight from the bottom and probably look silly.

why can't you move them a bit further back. then it will sit in, and you can deal with the gap probably easier than shaving down the ridge.

i dont know what the hell you did to get them to fit like that. mine fit perfectly after drilling three new holes. heres what i did. first after removing the stock mirror i lined up the honda bracket with the gasket and saw where i had to cut the gasket to make it sit properly the way i wanted it to, then i took the honda bracket and matched it up with the gasket being the gasket is sized and fitted correctly already to make sure i cut correctly, took the bracket and drilled three piolit holes through the bracket where the screws would go, stright through, so now i have a guide for my new holes to drill in the frame. i then set the bracket properly against the door and drilled through the holes the i made
in the front of the bracket stright through the screw holes stright through the frame(i used a 1/8? or a 1/4? bit i dont remember exactly try 1/8 first) now i have three new holes in the frame for the bracket. screwed the bracket to the miorror screwed the full set up to the frame and the mirror was on. now for the screw cover on the inside of the door i had to put 2 small screws stright through at the top and the bottom to hold it on cuz the existing hole that were there are in the way on the new screws and thats it put the cover on and ur done......the wireing i have yet to figure out...i have non powered with blue l.e.d. turn signal 3 wires blue black and white....... i hope this helps atleast 1 person because i have just realized im late for work ...........damm lol

i say keep em man...its not a big deal,,,,they look fine to me...remember they dont make it for our cars so its not gonna fit 100% perfect.....i have aftermarket mirrors from a 95 accord too,and i ran into the same problem as u,,maybe its cuz the accord swerves out at the top...mine are bomex mirrors but they are for the same car as ures 94-97 accord but i dont think its a big deal..keep em your M3 mirrors they look tight...take a look and see what im talking about the top swerving out.. http://community.webshots.com/photo/727740.../88907308cYxKik ('http://community.webshots.com/photo/72774091/88907308cYxKik')
