what is the best way too get 200-300 hp in my Galant 94 mod

Hi i have a 94 mod Galant and i want to tune it.
right now it has a thiny 1,8 l engine.
What is the best way too get 200-300 hp in my car?

Welcome to the board. Unfortunately your answer isn't very simple. There is a lot of work that goes into making a 4 cyl car go fast. You could possibly swap the engine (and tranny) with a 4g63t, but I am not to familiar with the GLSI model. Where are you from?

those engines came in 89-93 galant vr4s and eclipses(which they do not make in your country)

are you 5spd? if so the motor should be a direct bolt in w/ new ecu and wiring harness

you can snatch one of the jdm motors off eBay for $700-1000 and they come 200hp stock

Since you live in Norway, you may want to search for a 6A12 engine. It's a flat 6 cylinder and can also be found in twin-turbo setups. I have seen the available in and around Europe, you just have to keep your eyes peeled.
The 4g63T may be a better bet however, because I am unfimiliar with the 1.8L engine entirely. Is that the same engine as the Mirage???

lets not point him in wrong directions, 6a12 may fit, 4g63t mayfit...go to your local speed shop..i dont mean parts shop i mean a performance shop taht works on mitsu or has a great repuation..sit down and discuss options...if u have room for a 6a12 and woudl would be the best route
