Hey, figured I would post here too, I just got a galant like 5 months ago, I moved for the summer w/ my folks to Saint Louis, MO, so now I am lookin to mod it, and this looks like the place to go. My car is a 97 ES, I already got a new Pioneer headunit in there and 2 6 1/2s in the front, back speakers next and a sub/amp, that's all the inside work really, before the end of the summer, I am looking to put in a CAI and some other basic stuff, like clear corners, et cetera.

I don't have a job right now, except writing for a games website, what can I say, I am a nerd.

I'm not the smartest of car people, nor the richest, but I'm gonna take it one step at a time. Glad to find a cool group of guys here, if anyone lives near StL, maybe we could get together and you can give me some pointers, I'll buy lunch or somethin.

Wow, you guys got quite a bit of info on here. I just signed up, cool site. I was searching for links about the 2.4 stroker in a 4g63 and found this place. I had know idea a 4g63T mani would bolt right up to the 64 sohc head. I have a 98 ES(17sec) and a 91 Talon AWD(13.3sec). The galant is my daily driver but I can see it going under the knife since I have a 91 tsi parts car sitting here with a blown engine. Anyways, cool site, see you guys around.

the most consistant and most knowledgable cats around !!!!
You have a great ride! Just think about it.....have you ever seen
a Galant junked or on blocks in someone's driveway?
How many crappy Galant Hoopdie's have you ever seen?
Even though the tranny is not the greatest, it IS a great car.
I turn a few heads every now and then and I'm still stock!
(One dude swears it's a new car!)
I'm doing some real fly sh-t to my 97es but I'ts taking forever!
Being broke don't help much either! But I think this ride is worth it.
