that would look fat... pretty easy to do too. split the altezzas and candy paint (professionally) the interior chrome pieces, then put it all back together. great idea!

pimping out, that's what i'm going after. the GALANT letters, i'm thinking of getting the chrome ones, like the back of the trunk, and clear-coat them too with green. the green calipers has already crossed my mind. i want to upgrade my breaks and get those big looking ones, but that's gona hapen until i get some nice rims. already working on getting rims.

you poeple get what i'm saying? i got my idea from an orange accord that had altezzas with an orange clear coat, it actually had it on the headlamps too. i got three questions for all of you
1. when do the altezzas come out?
2. where can i get some green clear coat paint? (most important element for this project to work)
3. should i do the same thing to my headlamps and brand new angel eyes fogs? BTW i'll take pics of the new fogs as soon as i get home, not completely set up but they work, i'll provably do a new post.

1. I believe they are out and there is a group buy going on in the Group Buy Section... go and check it out. i might be mistaken
2.Id say go to a AutoZone or such place.. and explain oyur project to the people there and they will understand what your trying to do and think of the best paint for the job. helped me so far with the taillight mod we did to the eclipse my brother has.. calipers, and such.
3.you might get in trouble with the law for having the front headlamps painted other than stock. I looked for a long time to get the all clear tailights. I couldn't find them anywhere. I forgot the guys name he was recommended by Danj but he never got back to me on when he was getting them in. So I gave up and got the altezzas instead.

if you just did the outside, it would not look like that pic. also the lights would probably not pass as street legal at that point since now your lights would all b tinted green.

btw, the all clear versions are actually all white '96-'98 JDM and are aftermarket tail lights and are EXTREMELY rare.

That would look tight with the way you are modding your ride. Just do it the right way, like Reelax is saying...split those tails open and use a high quality candy paint. (House of Kolor....Candy Emerald Green)

looks good. but with many custom projects, you might wanna get some clear green film or something and cover up your tails to see how they look. the reason i say that is to mock how they'd look. things in a picture look different from what tehy do in real life. and yea you don't want to waste hundreds of dollars doing somehting ur gonna end up not liking

true, i'm picking up the CF tails on tuesday, i'll try 'em on for a while and see if i like how they look. otherwise i'll just paint them. i can't find the site but i remember seeing some transparent spray paint for tails. unless you added a normal clear coat, the paint would fade away. anybody know about that spray? that's something i'd like to try before painting the inside of tails.

i know testors makes a transparent green spray. http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=1404 ('http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=1404') many people i know use it. but they say the more layers u put on, the uglier it gets.

you just got green tint on your windows. if your tint guy is really good he might be able to put them on your tails. i don't know how long they'd last but i've seen people do similar things with auto tint.

i still need to get my sunroof tinted. i'll just go to autozone and get some green tint. i'll just mess around with it, the tails are mostly flat except for the stuff that pops out. it should be somewhat easy to do. i'll let you guys know how they come out.

HEY, I dont know what type of rims you into, but I seen some MOMO's, chrome of course, but they have inserts that you can change the color on. I say change em to GREEN. phatchef has them rims. pm him to find out the name of the actual rim.
