JDm Headlights - 9006-h4 rewiring diagram

9006 to H4 re-wiring


the red wire is ur low beam positive

the blue wire is for ur high beam positive

h4 wiring harness has 3 wires

Tap ur red wire to the low beam wire, and black to ground, if u want to have dual brights, the JDM headlights use H1 for highs but h4 are dual so u can put on hight beams and have both by Y-splitting ur blue wire, one to the high beam section of the h4 and the other to the postive of the H1, I didnt locate the H1 harnesses yet so i'll post that later

thanks ill order some prolly but i have it rigged already.... i had cut my stock connectors off and got large clips from radio shack and spliced everything in just need to splie in the h4s im using the h1s right now for running lights

how did u wire ur h1's, i have the sockets but i dunno which one is positive and which is ground

i havent found him, but i did find a place in Australia that ships to the US on JDM parts

This may sound stupid but this is only for the JDM headlight housings right. If not wil the h4s fit in the uspec housing?

yea this is for the JDM housings. you can't fit h4's in the us spec housings, but not worth all the trouble anyways IMO

Does anyone have the diagrams saved anywhere other than galants.com? I'm confused trying to get these lights wired.

I'm kinda thinking I absolutely NEED to get those 9006 to H4 harnesses unless I cut off the stock harness completely right?

i had to cut the stock harness to get the part of the harness out of the headlight. i bought the covnersion harness though, it was only untill later i realized how easy it was. i used to have the diagram, but i think i lost it when i re-formatted

As of right now, nothing. Not sure if I wanna keep it or sell it. It needs a little bit of fiberglass or bondo work and really should be repainted.
