if i even try to make them or have someone try to make them, it's gona end up in the 3 thou range anyways. isn't a hid alone about 1500 to 2000?

the cibie's should fit right with the jdm kits. unfortunately both the kit and the headlights and the kit don't fit with your car. to get them to fit you're gonna have to do some modifications.

japan is a right hand drive country so you're gonna have to modify the headlights so that they we work right in our left hand drive country. also the headlights are a different size than the us specs so you're gonna have to do some modifications.

same thing with the bumper. you're gonna have to do some modifications for that to fit. but you won't have problems with the headlight gaps since you are using jdm sized headlights.

as for price, yea plan on shelling out alot of money. the cibie website should have the current price for them. just find a currency converter to see how much they'd cost. then add in things like shipping and import fees. which is alot of money.

another thing i like that people do with the cibie's is take off the cover off their jdm headlamps and put them over the cibie's to kidna protect them and achieve a different look. thats what i would do but u'd need some jdm headlamps to take apart or get some kinda cover for the headlights.

3 months ago when i was thinking of getting them, i gave the website page or w.e to my friend that is in Jap. He showed the page to his teacher and said that the hid runs somthing around 1200 bucks. But the regular lamps run 800 i believe.. it would help if someone here knows jap but i dont think anyone does.

if those projector modules they use on the cibie's are hella modules that are E1 type, then there is no problem switching from RHD to LHD. all you have to do is rotate the projector left or right to switch from rhd to lhd. the shield is shaped like this __/ . that is why it works. the projectors on my montero are like that.

your really better off doing it yourself. if I had my old headlights I would try it myself but I have what i want so I can't complain. which reminds me to inquire about the production of the headlights

I speak some japanese, and if I have a problem with translating, I could ask my wife, who is Japanese. Give me a site to look at and I'll tell you how much they want for them.

you can use this page to translate: http://world.altavista.com/ ('http://world.altavista.com/')

I would never spend that much money just for headlights.. For that much money i could re-do my interior and have money left to get the number 5 at Mickey D's..

but you know what? imo that is the most noticeable mod in my cars...esp on the montero....since the modules are separate and are outside. people just stare and go, "WTF is that?" On the galant its more subtle. It looks oem.

so astig, how much would you charge total, headlights, HID, angel eyes, turn signal, etc. to do something like that? my next subs upgrade will be in the 650 range, and i'd rather pay that much to get something like to make my G look crazyier
