autoloc has good kits
i have two 50 lbs. solenoids in the front doors and two 35 lbs. solenoids in the rear plus one 15 lbs. solenoid for the trunk, which were controlled by a 16 function remote but now i have my viper pager alarm which opens the doors for me. for solenoids, autoloc cant be beat however their "brain" units suck.

This shop just quoted me. $75 per door to shave and $125 to install a kit on the front two doors.
