hey i just made mine couple days ago, used my car last night and i melted the shit outta the plastic,my plexi held up tho, is it cuz the bulb is too high of a wattage? or is the lens to close to teh light, cuz i have mine flush mounted to the side of the car, its not sunken in

I've had no problems with mine. The bulb is basically touching the plastic too. I did replace the bulb with red ones that I got in the ricer section at autozone.

I have PIAA extreme whites in mine. The only problem I have with them is the lens color is turning yellowish, like a dirty white color. I need to make some new ones. But no melting.
