sup guys. ok today i tried to see if my dad got the oil changed, he said the drain plug is worn out and won't come out, so does anybody have ideas how to get it out and how much for a plug at the dealer costs? thanks

Um no idea on how to get it out...I've heard of people using a flathead screwdriver to chisel it a bit to see if it loosens up. It's not much for the plug and gasket...like 2 bucks. My dealership stripped mine and I had to get a new one before it's not going to kill you.

try some locking pliers. make sure they are on there really tight. but before u do all that. go to the dealer, auto parts store, wherever and get u a new drain plug.

do you mean stripped? if so hardware store sell special tools to remove stripped bolts from what they are attached to. and target sells the gator tool smae thing as above and craftsman makes a tool for that too.
