Electronic Controlled suspension

Hey my 89 galant gs came with an electronic controlled suspension.....the guy i bought it from took it off, i guess because it failed. Does anyone know any information about this and if its even possible to buy one at all?

From what i can tell you can adjust ride height and suspension type which seems pretty cool

it worked well, but broke often.
the cost of repairing them was extraordinarily high. struts (which failed often) were 400 bucks each. the compressors (of which there were 2, both failing often) are 700 bucks each.
the rear height sensor is about 300 bucks.
And that doesnt include the cost of diagnosing and installing this stuff.


Trust me, youre better off without it.

can you just swap in a strut and coil setup on a ECS equipped galant?
