Dash Trim Kit

For all of you 2002 owners.. I found a place that has Brushed Titanium dash 25 pc. for like 130 bones. Its a perfect match to the Titanium interior of the 2k2.. of course you wouldnt use like 4 peices that come with the kit (the center console/door handle inserts) They sent me samples..

Seriously considering this kit.. anybody installed a similar kit.. (wood,etc..)
How easy was it? Or should I just keep looking for an interior paint that matches?

Oh, Brushed titanium is not listed on the site, but they have it.. kjust select factory match..but they have pics and stuff of their product..

Probably order the kit next week...if I dont find it cheaper anywhere elso.. OR find matching interior paint..

does anyone know if they make a more detailed dash kit for the 01 es with the grey interior and wood trim? i have wood trim where the window switches are, around the shifter and radio, i thought it would look nice if the trip around the interior door handles and vents were wood also,, know of anyone ever making anything like this? thx

they do...if you visited any of the sites that sell dash trim you can see that they do, the make them for people without wood and people with it

They're ok, but wouldn't you be worried that overtime the heat and just time would make them start to peel and fade. I'd rather get the actual pieces themselves like the CF for the 2002 GTZ ( even though its kind of $$$$).

thats great that its a perfect match and all, but its still stick-on/overlay kit...i want a factory look but damn the 02 kits are $$$$!!!...i wish someone would make these pieces in actual aluminum or something, not just colored plastic.... :idea:

Hey which kit do you have? The on that sells on ebay? Brushed alluminum? Is this stick on or what? And do you put it over the factory OEM peices??? Will you be able to see the underlying wood grain? ive seen some titanium dash kits that look sweet as hell but also otehrs that werent so sweet id have to see it in a lant to decide on weather to get it or not.

I got one of the overlay kits in woodgrain. It's almost a perfect match for the factory interior. I was going to go with alkaplus, but actually wound up picking it up off ebay. It's the exact same as the alkaplus kit. All 25 pieces. The seller is exotic_dash. They ARE alkaplus on ebay. I just checked and that's who my paypal payment went to. So try and save some bucks!!!
