I just bought a pair of White Xenon headlights from Ebay and was wondering if it is street legal or not. I live in Boston, MA. Here is the description from Ebay.

i dont think those are, i know PIAA for sure are all DOT approved. My lights are definatly legal, since they're actual HIDs, HELLA brand.

that's what i thought. I have actual HIDs on my car too and have been pulled over many times for them. Depending on your state, the law is that HIDs fitted onto a Non-HID car are illegal. Basically, if it's not a dealer installed option, it's illegal.

damn, well, mine weren't definatly dealer installed, and i got 7000K bulbs, so they look kind of like hyper whites, just a thousand times brighter and whiter

not all piaa's are dot approved. many moons ago when I was still in the dark I had the super plasma from piaa...they were not dot approved.
