clear corner methods

Hey are there any fool proof ways to clear the corners with out smashing up the hole where you enter in the housing.....i did my friends and it was all chipped and scratched....couldnt see it until you look closely.....

I ask because i going to do this kids (i left a TGC FLyer on his car https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif ) on wednesday for $50....i was just wondering if there are any techniques or methods you guys used to prevent the scratching....thanks

At the meet today in rhode island josh (2 Low 4 fat hoe), used dentist picks (He said he got them at home depot). And did some guy's clear corners in under 20 mins for both. It was easier than using a screw driver like I did.

Yeah i know...josh gave me one of them at the CT Meet...so thats what i used...when i was pulling on the reflector....when it snapped the force made me hit the inside housing

I put mine in the oven for about 5 minutes and just pulled them apart. when i unscrewed the reflector, it came off. then i just put the housing back in the oven for another 5 min and pushed and held together and it was perfect. it took about 20 min for both. and they are completly sealed back together. just my method and it worked fine for me. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
